What We Do
Our Mission
The New Zealand Association of Credit Unions (NZACU) exists to represent, promote and support Member credit unions and building societies, and provide cost effective business services.
We supply a range of financial services, banking and insurance products to all Member organisations. All products and services are competitively priced and tailored to meet the needs of members. The NZACU also operates a Central Banking facility to accommodate surplus credit union and building society funds.
In addition to this, NZACU also provides:
- a focal point for Member credit unions and building societies in New Zealand. This allows the dissemination of information to our members and ensures that every Member organisation, regardless of size, is heard
- learning and development opportunities for directors and managers in the prudent management of their credit unions and building societies
- technical assistance in the areas of operational support, regulatory requirements, product development, planning, marketing and public relations to help Member credit unions and building societies achieve their objectives.
Member credit unions and building societies receive access to a variety of products and services from NZACU. There are categorised as Member Services and Business Services.
